MOTHER NATURE GETS A 10+ THIS WEEKEND!
Written by John DiPasquale:
Well, the meteorologist across the northeast & WNY are bored, but that is a great thing for all of us! Large high pressure will be the main, & only weather feature we will have to affect us through at least next Tuesday/Wednesday!! A week stretch of dry, gorgeous weather does not happen to often anytime of year, let alone in October across WNY! We'll take it!
Temperatures by enlarge will be in the low to mid 70s for highs today, but should warm into the upper 70s to low 80s through much, if not all, of the holiday weekend! The exception to this will be up along & near the lakeshore, where readings due to a lake breeze developing should be kept in the 60s to around 70 through Monday. Either way, though, the weather looks great for all through at least next Tuesday.
More clouds will try to build in later Wednesday, & eventually a bit of rain will probably accompany the clouds by Wednesday night/Thursday. Temperatures will also slowly cool through next week to eventually more seasonable levels by late next week. Stay tuned.
Enjoy July in October everyone!
John,
ReplyDeleteMay I suggest you check out this definition for the expression you used in your weather report yesterday? (By Enlarge)-- is actually "By and Large"-- read this explanation-- it explains how it is based on Sailing vessels sailing into the wind!:

And thanks for the wonderful Autumn colored map!-- SO fitting and warm and encouraging-- as we enjoy these FALL days (and colors!)
