Best Day of Weekend will be Saturday, but Not Bad for Mom

Written by John DiPasquale:

After a sunny & pleasantly cool Friday to kick off the Lilac Festival, Saturday will not be as sunny, especially during the afternoon, but it will be warmer as highs reach the mid 70s!

On Mother's Day, as the pic states above it will be cooler, BUT according to the newest data at 1230 Friday afternoon, the sky will probably stay mainly gray with a spotty shower or two possible on Sunday.  The good news about Mother's Day is that it should be mainly dry & still fairly mild for any outdoor plans you may have for your mom.  Highs on Sunday will likely range from 65 to near 70.

The front slipping through later Saturday night & Sunday will probably stall pretty close by for the start of next week, & an area of low pressure will try to move up along the front Monday &/or Tuesday with a few showers possible to start the week as a result of this for us here in WNY.  Temperatures should top out in the mid 60s to low 70s Monday & Tuesday.

Have a great Friday & weekend all!  Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there too!
