Cooler Air on It's Way

Written by John DiPasquale:

This snapshot was taken during the 12 o'clock hour this afternoon, & displays quite nicely the much cooler air looming to the north & west.  This air will come on in from the northwest in the wake of this afternoon's cold front cooling us into the 40s tonight, & highs will be a little below average, low to mid 60s, starting tomorrow right through the weekend.

High pressure will keep us somewhat sunny Thursday & Friday, but over the weekend the clouds will slowly increase, as an upper level storm slowly plunges in & tries to spin up a nor'easter across New England.  With that said, Saturday will start getting cloudier, but should remain mainly dry, but on Sunday into Monday we should have lots of clouds & at least a few showers around.  Stay tuned for updates on this somewhat unsettled weather regime trying to set up to end September & begin October Monday.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!
