Not a Bad Weekend Ahead

Written by John DiPasquale:

After starting our Friday out in the low 40s, near record cold 40° set back in 2000, we are recovering nicely with lots of September sunshine pushing temperatures up to around 70 this afternoon!

A slow moving cold front will introduce more clouds Saturday afternoon with a few showers & storms probably arriving sometime after 3 or 4, so most of Saturday should be dry.  It will be breezy & warmer too with highs nearing 80 with the help of enough sun!  Scattered showers & storms will roll through Saturday night & in the wake of front it will be cooler and breezy here on Sunday with maybe an early shower followed by a good deal of sun for Sunday afternoon.  This is great news for the Bills home opener against the Patriots!  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 60s to around 70, but inch back later in the day.

Monday will start chilly, but abundant sun will help us warm into the low 70s during the afternoon.  It will be a great start to the week!  Mid summers air mass will then try to blow in for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs well up into the 80s, with an outside chance of hitting 90!  We'll see...Either way, it looks like a cold front will push through Wednesday night/early Thursday with scattered showers & storms around Wednesday & Wednesday night.  Behind the front, it should turn much cooler & more seasonable at the very least.  Stay tuned.

Have a great Friday & enjoy the fall feel everyone!

  1. I'm cheering for the Bills and no 90 degree temps until next July.

  2. Talk about a roller coaster...from a low of 45 last night to a high of 93 tomorrow, then back down to a high of 60 three days later and possibly a low in the upper 30s by Saturday morning. Go home Mother Nature you're drunk.
