WINTRY WEATHER ON FRIDAY, NUISANCE SNOW

Written By: Scott Hetsko

Two weak low pressure systems will combine to become a very strong storm over New England by Friday evening. Unfortunately for snow lovers the storm track is right over us. The system will wrap in some snow on Friday but I suspect 1-3" with up to 5" in a few spots off the lake by Friday night will be all the area will get from this one. The storm becomes a monster 978 mb low over Maine but by then it's influence will no longer be significant over Western New York.

  2. This new site is terrible...can only see the blog using my phone. Look like this storm will be on track to give us what all the previous ones have...just enough to maybe cover the grass. Even tho its an uneventful winter, its really interesting to see how its all unfolding. Would not mind having one blizzard tho.

  16. Agree, Not to be a jerk but CBS/FOX have big bucks. Hire a professional website company, not interns...

  17. Scott,

This looks like more than a nuisance snow.

The NWS was right with this one. The low is right on top of us.
