WINTRY WEATHER ON FRIDAY, NUISANCE SNOW
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Two weak low pressure systems will combine to become a very strong storm over New England by Friday evening. Unfortunately for snow lovers the storm track is right over us. The system will wrap in some snow on Friday but I suspect 1-3" with up to 5" in a few spots off the lake by Friday night will be all the area will get from this one. The storm becomes a monster 978 mb low over Maine but by then it's influence will no longer be significant over Western New York.
Another bummer!!! 1-3 inches. What will we do with it all. LOL. Better than noting I guess.
ReplyDeleteThis new site is terrible...can only see the blog using my phone. Look like this storm will be on track to give us what all the previous ones have...just enough to maybe cover the grass. Even tho its an uneventful winter, its really interesting to see how its all unfolding. Would not mind having one blizzard tho.
ReplyDeleteYea I can only use my phone also...Scott is usually right...its funny to see everyone else forecasting more snow...as usual we miss out again!!!!
ReplyDeleteI was only able to access the blog through Scott's link on his facebook page... weird
ReplyDeleteI clicked on the picture of the weather team and was able to see the blog. Using an iPad.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the trouble from the new site folks. I'm working hard on making it easier and better for everyone!

ReplyDeleteWooHoo!!!!! It's actually snowing and blowing sideways! I didn't enjoy the sleet/ice hitting my house at 4:00 AM though....
ReplyDeleteYes! The sideways sleet kept me up too!
ReplyDelete2 inches at my house already. VERY SLOW ride home this morning. I forgot how much I missed this stuff! I'll be the dummy riding the snowmobile around his yard in a few hours.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful January day-- finally!
ReplyDeleteScott, the website is a mess. Doesn't work well on my ipad and droid anymore.
Andy
Radar looks pretty solid, this snow should last right into late afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this new website is a mess. No sense in trying any longer.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just this blog, it is the whole Rochesterhomepage.net
Agree, Not to be a jerk but CBS/FOX have big bucks. Hire a professional website company, not interns...
ReplyDeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like more than a nuisance snow.
The NWS was right with this one. The low is right on top of us.
